Trion High School’s Logan Stokes Selected for Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Football All-Star Game

For the past few seasons, Logan Stokes at 6’4” 235lbs., the star of Trion High School’s football team, continues to captivate fans and coaches with his exceptional performance. In addition, Stokes’ has received an invitation to represent BSN at the GACA’s North VS. South All- Star classic, which will take place on December 29, 2014 in Brunswick, Georgia.
It is a rare opportunity for the best high schools’ football players in the entire state.
An up and coming senior who earned the nickname “Strokes,” famous for his excellent fieldwork has made it into this elite team. His talent in the gridiron has largely helped Trion football program get some spotlight and also got the call-up for him to play there with other great high school players across Georgia.
The annual showcase that the GACA organizes is an opportunity to showcase talented high school football players. This gives the prospective college recruiters an opportunity to evaluate them ahead of recruiting.
Trion Head Coach Sean Patrick revealed how proud he was of Stokes and noted that it was highly deserved at this time to receive all those awards as well as chances. As quoted by coach Patrick, “I am so happy for Logan. He truly deserved to play the GACA game where he would face the top level players throughout the state.”
The Tight End Stokes stats say more than anything else. Throughout this season, Stokes showcased his versatility and skill set, tallying impressive numbers: 27 catches for 409 yards with an average of 15.2 yards at six receiving tds.
Besides playing offensively, he has recorded fifty three tackles, six sacks, nine tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery. #
Besides individual statistics, that is what makes of Stokes’ achievements. He has performed exceptionally well and he was chosen in the All-Region first team in two successive years as Tight End. In addition, he is still a consistent force, leading his region top in sacks and winning numerous awards like the Summerville news player of the week for multiple times, hog award, and allonga player of the week.Y ```
