Oklahoma Gets First OL Pledge in 2025 Recruiting Class
In the class of 2023, the recruiting campaign is picking up steam for Oklahoma’s offensive line and currently features an outstanding crew.

For the first time in Littrell’s Seth era, Oklahoma got its first commitment on a Saturday morning.
Finally, offensive guard Owen Hollenbeck joined the Sooners’ 2025 recruiting class just one week after he visited at Normandy.
Hollenbeck bagged the offer during the summer after a wonderful performance at the Brent Venables Football Camp over the summer. The physical blocker returned over this past weekend as Oklahoma defeated TCU 69-45 at home.
Hollenbeck is a teammate of 4-star 2024 Oklahoma d-line commit Nigel Smith from Melissa in Texas.
The highly touted interior offensive lineman was listed as 6-foot-4 and 313 pounds. He instead opted for Okies over Gators, Longhorns, Razorhogs, and others.
It would be imperative for Bill Bedenbaugh and company if they were to win recruitment of Hollenbeck in this upcoming class since they would also need to amass a reasonable group of offensive linemen in the upcoming 2025 class due to missing on various o-line
Hollenbeck is Oklahoma’s ninth commitment and first offensive line pledge for their 2025 recruiting class. A new commit who will join a good bunch of 3 stars wide receivers and a 4 star quarterback at OU.
Now, the Sooners hold the top rank of the number. Ranked number 4 in overall class in its 2025 recruiting cycle by 247Sports.
