Nebraska high school girls basketball players to watch this season

The players to watch during the 2023-24 Nebraska high school girls basketball season as discussed by Mike Patterson.

Zaili Benish, Leyton: A 5-4 junior guard came in third in state scoring with a 22 points per game average.

Lelani Carter, Omaha Benson: In 2022-23, this senior guard averaged 16.4 points.

Halle Dolliver, Malcolm: A 5-10 sophomore, who was the leading state scorer for Volleyball season, was average of 20 points as a Freshman.

Neleigh Gessert, Millard West: Norah (10.0 ppg), a 6-1 junior who averaged 12 points last season also has an offer from Nebraska.

Chloe Hanel, Clarkson/Leigh: She also led 20 pts as a class C-2 second-runner up in the fall of 2022-23.

Ayanna Hill, Omaha North: For the Vikings, their 5-7 sophomore led the team last season with an average of 15.3 points per game.

Inia Jones, Omaha Central: Averaging 18.8 points in her final season as a senior guard makes her an impact player since her first year.

Ahmani Klabunde, Omaha Benson: Topped Class A last year in scoring with an average of 19.2 pgs.

Molly Ladwig, Omaha Skutt: After transferring from Blair, the 5-7 junior guard averaged 13 points per game for the SkyHawks in 2022-23.

Olivia Loomis-Goltl, Bridgeport: Last year, the Bulldogs scored an average of 19 points per game with the 5-10 senior.dd

Peyton McCabe, Omaha Skutt: In 2022-23, the Drake commit averaged 15.5 points as a member of the class B’s second placed SkyHawks.

McKenna Murphy, Elkhorn North: One of the top scorers on the team was the Colorado State pledge who averaged 15.1 points for the 1-AA champs, the Wolves.

Najya O’Neal, Omaha Benson: Last year, the Bulldog averaged 16.8 points per the transfer from Omaha Burke.

Britt Prince, Elkhorn North: Nebraska’s highly sought after draft pick was the state’s top scorer last year with an average of 24 points per match.

Ahnica Russell-Brown, Bellevue West: For instance, the senior guard managed an average of 12.5 points in the 2022-23 season.

Naomi White, Bellevue West: The average per game for 5 – 9 senior guard was 17.3 point for those mighty shooter Thunderbirds.
